If you not curled up in a fetal position holding your stomach then you haven't felt testicle pain yet. Did you squash them.? Are they sensitive to the touch.? If the pain doesn't go away overnight then mention this to your parents. I'm not a doctor but this is common sense advice from an adult to a teen.Health Question & Answer

A common pain in the testicle usually in young men is tortion where the testicle actually twists on the cord. This can cause terrible pain and can be an emergency as the blood supply is cut off to the testicle. You can lose a testicle if it is not treated promptly. You are not having this kind of pain but it may just be starting. That is just one reason a young man can have testicular pain. Of course always you can get an infection or hydroclele. I think infection would hurt constantly and you may develope a fever. also, you would be very sore or tender in the area. A hydrocele is a rupture of the inguinal canal where the cord goes up into the abdomen. This opening is a natural weakness in men and may develope fluid around the testicle. There would be swelling of that scrotal sac. Maybe from lifting or straining like lifting weights or whatever. Rather rare especially in guys your age is kidney stone pain is sometimes felt in the testicle due to the nerves along the urinary tract you get radiating pain and feel it in the testicle.. The testicle is not sore. Again, not likely in someone your age.
You may have just strained the area from activity, sports etc.
If you have recurrent "bouts" of this pain or if it worsens you should have your primary care doctor check you out. If it is a tortion let a specialist like a urologist take care of it for you. Sometimes a tortion can be untwisted without any surgery. It can happen again though.
Important to know cancer of the testicle is usually NOT PAINFUL so don't worry much in that direction. You would more likely have a painless knot on one testicle. Knew a doctor once who was treated for prostatitis for about a year and died of testicular cancer. What a tragety. I mention this only to point out , always let a qualified doctor check you out. They may get blood tests for tumor markers if it is not a clear cut diagnosis like a tortion or other clear cut problem. Don't see this as frighteniing it is just smart medicine.
Only your doctor can check you out and see what is going on. Probably a simple answer and will clear up with a little medicine.
I'm assuming at 14 you are not considering a STD. If there is reason to be concerned go get your antibiotics and get over it now. It won't go away by itself. Good Luck..Health Question & Answer

If you have not had any trauma to them and you are not sexually active then you need to let your parents know about this there are allot of things that this could be and only a doctor can tell what this is. Some things need to be seen as soon as possible to avoid medical problems. In any case see your doctor. Good luckHealth Question & Answer
