Answers:
Ultram is addicting and although it is not a narcotic, it is in the same category with Perocet & Methadone. My wife took it and it didn't help her a bit. She was on the time released tablets and she took them with food. She takes MS Contin 45 Mg's three times a day, but not for just headaches. She has fibromyalgia along with Arthritis. Have you ever been tested to see what may be causing your headaches.? If you haven't you should. You could just have a spinal misalignment and a Chiropractor can help you. One of your gene's may not be active. May be your blood platelet count is high which slows down blood flow movement. You should start with some blood testing to see if anything is abnormal, and go from there. Just don't do nothing and suffer from the headaches when they can be fixed. Wishing you the very best sir, and good luck on finding a cause. PS If you decide to go off the Ultram, do it gradually, don't stop suddenly. Health Question & Answer

first you need to look into why you are having such frequent severe headaches, then find a diff. medicine that works better. You may have become reliant on it and without it your body has rebound headaches, this happened to me with Motrin, if I didn't take it I would have terrible headaches, so I had to go cold turkey for a few months then gradually reintroduce. Find a new Dr, maybe neurologist or headache specialistHealth Question & Answer

Ultram is a sorry pain medicine you need to get your MD to change it to something a little better.Health Question & Answer
