Question: I have a cold, what's gonna happen if I go in the rain.?
I have a concert tonight which I already paid the tickets to. Its been raining like crazy for the past three days non stop. I will probably be under the rain there the whole time. How bad can my cold get.? I want to know the consequences, please don't just say " don't go". Health Question & Answer

If the area you are going to is warm, I'd say just go. However if your cold is severe than you might want to rethink your decision because if it rains there, than most likely your cold will last longer or may even strengthen. But, if you think you are strong enough, I would say go for it. A concert sounds fun, and it's Thanksgiving!

cold are caused by bacteria/viruses not by cold wet weather as is commonly misconceived. if you feel well enough wrap up warm and wear waterproof clothing but i would advise you to stay home if possible because you are likely to feel a lot worse if you are ill as well as cold and wetHealth Question & Answer
