So many people eat unhealthy food without knowing (or by ignoring ) the fact it gonna make them sick.

Because the FDA approves the food that makes you sick enough to take the medicine that guess who...the FDA approves...it's a way of giving them job security and fat wallets. Imagine if the foods that give all these people high cholesterol stopped being purchased and consumed.
