You can try a heating pad to warm and stretch the muscle out. Consider how you are doing exercise, how you sit at a desk, how you do stuff that might be negatively affecting your right leg. Back pain can be misleading...it feels like one thing and turns out its another. If the heating pad and some Advil (or similar) doesn't resolve it within a week, you do need to go to a doctor. Lower back pain is an often looked over pain -- we pop some ibuprofen and forget about it. The unfortunate thing is, lower back pain can be a result of a serious medical issue. Nerve damage, bulging disks, bladder trouble, and even kidney problems can cause back pain.

Try thinking back to recent events. Did the pain start after you over-exerted yourself.? Or after you lifted something really heavy.? Or after you played a rough and tumble sport.? IF so you likely pulled a muscle. Investing in a heat patch, pad, or lumbar support will help ease the pain as it heals itself.

IF the back pain came on suddenly and you cannot think of any logical explanation why you are having these troubles, its time to see a doctor to make sure it is nothing more serious that a strain.Health Question & Answer

Sounds to me like you pulled a muscle in your back. You need to go to dr. if it's knotted up, only muscle relaxer will help. Trust me, don't let you back go without being taken care of. Husband had to have fusion and their is so much he can't do now and the pain is still the same and caused other problems with his backHealth Question & Answer

Sounds like a nerve or something is caught. You should see a chiropractor. I realize many think that they are not "real" doctors, but when it comes to backs, any real chiropractor KNOWS what they are doing. They will be able to fix you right up. And its usually not all that expensive either.Health Question & Answer
