Pain in my upper left chest, front of shoulder, in arm?!
Question: Pain in my upper left chest, front of shoulder, in arm.?
I am a 16 year old male, in decent shape and started having these pains in my upper chest, inside the arm area, and the front of my shoulder near my neck and inside my bicep sometimes. Sometimes I have the pain in my wrist, but not often. It isn't hurting all the time. I was sweeping water (yes, long story) in the basement really hard for a long time yesterday afternoon and last night after we had a lot of rain , could it be from that.? I don't think I am having a heart attack, but this is worse at some times than others but its gone on all day. It is really worrying me, I have a bad anxiety problem and occasionally panic attacks on top and I don't want to have that.
If this doesn't get any better, I'm going to have my mom go with me to the doctor Monday, I know I need to go if it doesn't get better, but could someone help me with just a little insight.?

OH MY GOD!! I HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM, TOO! What a coincidence! I stressed about it for weeks about this problem, and DON'T WORRY! This is normal for panic attack..ers. I suffered from panic attacks and shortness of breath, too (it feels like you're gonna die, doesn't it).?

anxiety caused my chest pain
i had all the test
chest pain is usually not left sided umm
it doesnt sound like your heart
im sure your having anxiety about it being your heart.?
and that'll only make it worse

I am a nurse. It could be anxiety, or it could just be strain. However, chest pain that radiated to the shoulder and left arm are indicative of a heart attack I would go to the ER. Monday is a long way off.Health Question & Answer
