yes it happens me when im worried and stress ... drink loads and eat more white food (harder to digest so it wont run through you)Health Question & Answer

Try taking probiotics - either in capsules from the health food store, or in the form of a yoghurt drink.

If you're suffering from pain along with this diarrhoea then try some Buscopan tablets from the pharmacy. They're prescribed for irritable bowel syndrome, but you can take them for a few days and see if they help.

Make sure you drink plenty of plain fluids - not sugary stuff or alcohol - water, diluted juices etc. Stay away from rich/spicy foods - eat plenty of plain foods instead.

If you're suffering from stress, then l-theanine can help - it's an amino acid which has a calming effect without causing tiredness or sedation. I buy mine from the health food store.

If you need to go out somewhere and you're concerned about having a bout of diarrhoea then you can always try some Immodium from the pharmacy, but don't take this for longer than a couple of days.

See your doctor if things don't improve for you as there could be some other underlying problem.

Hope you feel better soon.Health Question & Answer

It's Ok, you are not abnormal stress does cause diarrhoea because your nerves control your bowel's for example when you are nervous you may break wind more than usual, when you are stressed you may experience either Diarrhoea or constipation, your only cure is medicine and relaxation.

Yes hun this is a very natural reaction. When we are stressed the first part of our body to be affected are our stomachs causing that "jippy" must rush to the loo feeling! I always get it when I'm worried about something or when I'm majorly upset. Funnily enough I also suffer from it when I am excited for something! Weird.
If it goes on longer than 3 days then I'd see a doctor but just try and drink plenty of water. Good luck xHealth Question & Answer
