Question: How can I prevent my legs from swelling.?
I have been working a lot lately, and since my job requires me to stand, my legs have been swelling as a result of this.

Can buy some over the counter knee hi compression stockings. They do not allow for swelling into the tissues if they are tight enough.

Can also try some knee hi support stockings (leggs, etc) but they will invariably be too tight around your feet if you are standing most of your shift.

The compression stockings are just a miracle, I've worn them for years when I work the floor (nurse) and do relieve fatigue and swelling. The compression stockings are commonly referred to as 'anti embolism' stockings or TED hose as well.

Keep an eye on this and if the pain or tingling continues it may be the beginning of DVT.

This is very painful and pain pills do not help. I have had it for over 2 years and the doctor was slow to diagnose it until I was in critical shape.
