Sharp, (very) intense shooting pains in my lower back?!
Question: Sharp, (very) intense shooting pains in my lower back.?
On the right side, most likely from my backpack. Feels fine for a few weeks then when I bend down once or sit in my chair weirdly, the pain comes back and stays there for days. Should I get this checked out or just "deal with it" good enough.? I took 4 ibuprofen and it did not help at all. :(Health Question & Answer

Several things could be going on. Could of ripped a ligament that attaches to the inner/side part of your spine (very painful), could be strained muscle's in you core (I recommend strengthening those), and Bulging/herniated disk (NOT GOOD). If you begin to have pain, numbness, tingling, down your right/left leg see a Neurosurgeon ASAP. Don't wait, this could cause more damage. I will give you the best advise, that was given to me, "Take care of you back because once you have back problems they will NEVER go away" and tend to worsen over time. Too bad I never listen to that myself showing how strong and buff I was back then got me nowhere except a back full of pain everyday. With 2 herniated disks (at 21), now 38 Im now seeing a Neurosurgeon on the 30th. Because I have let a herniation go for so long, I have perm damage to my sciatic nerve, which is the main nerve root that supplies the legs. SO no...don't let it go. get it check.Health Question & Answer
Probably is from your backpack I got the same kind of stuff in highschool, about the only other thing besides normal back pain it could be is a herniated disk, but it sounds more like back pain, if it keeps happening you might want to get it checked out, I mean typically if its enough to effect your every day life its a problem, Oh and be careful with the ib profen that stuffs bad for your organs/body, Dont take too muchHealth Question & Answer
It sounds like a kidney stone to me. It probably only hurts sometimes because it is idle sometimes. The pain you are feeling could be when the kidney stone moves. If it is a kidney stone, you will most likely pass it eventually.Health Question & Answer
Any recurring pain that lasts for several days is your body's way of telling you something is wrong and you should probably have it checked out.Health Question & Answer
