My daughter used accutane, if this is the same. It worked wonders. She had a few nosebleeds but was not depressed. Yes tell your mother I had many doubts too but the pay-off is great. And pay attention to the doctor about not getting pregnant and staying out of the sun. She was on a LOW dose for a year. Maybe that helped with the side-effects.Health Question & Answer
