Am I bipolar.. please help....?!
Question: Am I bipolar.. please help.....?
Okay, this is the story.
Recently, in the past month or so, my mood has expirienced very weird things.
Sometimes I can go from ecstatic to depressed easily, and sometimes for no perticular reason.
I have read rather extesively on manic depression and am I just being a hypochondriac.?
What should I do if i am bipolar.?

You need a psychiatrist who can make the correct diagnosis and prescribe safe medications that will help you. You don't have to live with this and you don't deserve to. Please get help. You certainly are not a hypochodiria and it does sound like bipolar but only a professiona can make the right diagnosisHealth Question & Answer
Does ecstatic mean that you don't need much sleep for days on end.? Does depressed mean that you want to die, again for days on end.? If not, then bipolar is highly unlikely.
Per the DSM, psychiatry's diagnostic book, bipolar mania must last a week and depression must last two. Ultra rapid cycling does occur in children but is extremely rare in teens and adults.
If you seriously question, make an appt with your regular doctor for a checkup to rule out medical causes. Then make an appt with a psychiatrist for an evaluation.Health Question & Answer
