How can a person eat with no tongue?!


Question: How can a person eat with no tongue.?
Very strange question, i know, but i'm reading a book where the main character's tongue gets gnawed off, and i'm just wondering how difficult it would be to eat with no tongueHealth Question & Answer

chewing... real hard! without the tongue, no tastebuds, hard time to produce saliva which has enzymes to make it easier to burn break down the food.
