I would choose a juice that was strongly acidic, like lemon juice. You can also use vinegar, which is also a strong acid. Those little taco sauce packets from Taco Bell also work, because they contain vinegar. Look at the links for more information.

Coke does a perfect job.
I tried n tested it!
Wash it with a good soap as DOVE and rinse it with 2 caps( caps NOT CUPS) (the vinegar bottle cap will do) of white vinegar which is acetic acid mixed in 1 liter of water.
Use a 1 liter of empty Coke bottle for example, to meassure your water.
This will give the pennis skin the proper Aci pH of 5.4 and will keep it away from fishy odor or any other unpleasant odor. Clean and Fresh !
If they are valuable rare pennies DO NOT clean them, you may aswell flush them down the toilet if you do.
