dude who wrote BODY FOR LIFE says the morning is best, because its usually a great way to kick start the day-- energy for the rest of the day, and if you do it b4 you eat as he recommends then the energy you burn off is stored in your body and not coming more directly from your breakfast or lunch or whatever.
