Can eating 2 lemons a day harm your heath at all?

Question:
I really enjoy eating lemons, I ate a far bit of them in my lifetime, they are my favourite fruit. I used to have braces and I know that from eating the lemons it caused my teeth to wear down, so when I got my braces removed my teeth were all bumpy and they had to fix them further... anyway, Now, I have a weak stomach... I cannot drink any alcohol or I get really sick... I got to thinking and I was just wondering if lemons may have had something to do with this ?? lol

Thanks.

Answer:
They break down the enamel on your teeth.
lemons arent bad for u
Lemons are very bad for your teeth. It wears the enamel out on your teeth so they have no protective coating. This will cause them to decay.
Lemons are acidic...so yes, they can and will effect the enamel on your teeth and can effect your stomach also. I'd suggest breaking the habit.
Highly doubtful that you'd have any lasting health concerns regarding past lemon consumption. I'd look elsewhere about the stomach problems.
i like lemons..
u r right.. it causes tooth wear..and maybe wat u going through now the weak stomach.. cuz lemons have citric acid in them..and acid in the stomache will cause ulcers... so u take care hun go check it out
Lemons are very acidic. I would have some bread or crackers or something in your belly if you're such a chronic lemon eater. I'm not sure about potential damage to your esophagus.
Well... alcohol is NOT good for you, so that might be an improvement
I don't think so, but cut down the lemon intake to one lemon a day, it is sufficient to give the daily vitamin C that your body requires.
well lemons are fruit! so they are healthy! then again they are acidic i guess 2 is ok but dnt exceed that amount..
I think the acidity from the lemons is what caused your teeth to become bumpy... but I am sure that your stomach acid is far more potent than a bunch of lemons. Some people can't handle drinking liquor. It makes me sick, too, and I don't eat lemons! Alcohol is a toxin, and your liver gets overloaded when you drink it... which makes people drunk... or sick.

Lemons are good for you. Lots of Vitamin C.
My mouth is salivating just thinking about eating a lemon! Good for you that you can do that!
Lemons are a good source of vitamin C, but eating two per-day does seem a little excessive. The acidity in all the lemons you have eaten may be the cause of your stomach problems, but you should really consult your doctor for his/her professional opinion.
Honey, you answered your own question. Yes it already has caused damage to your teeth and stomach, so there fore they are harmful when you eat to many. The damage to your teeth is irreversible, you will need laminates or crowns. As for your stomach you'll need to see a MD about permanent problems-hopefully the stomach will recover.
haha " i really enjoy eating lemons" lol, i think they can make you sick cus theyve got what? citrus acid in them or something...why do you like eating lemons? lol
yes, it can cause ulcer in your stomach, take care
They won't cause gastric ulcer, but gastritis for sure.
From wikipedia:

Lemon juice is also sprinkled on cut fruit, such as apples, to prevent oxidation which would otherwise rapidly darken the fruit, making it less appetizing. Some people like to eat lemons as fruit, however water should be consumed afterwards to wash the citric acid and sugar from the teeth, which might otherwise promote tooth decay and many other dental diseases.

So I don't know about the weak stomach but drink some water after indulging in your lemon-eating practices.
