I think you can die of exhaustion, in such a situation you are low on fluids and nutriants that the body needs, such as water, sugar or vitamins, and as such a part of your body in which such things are vital would most likely conk out, albeit your heart, brain, lungs or maybe something less dire like your pancreas, liver or kidney which starts a chain reaction to other more vital organs.
