Am i allowed an Ipod if i have a perforated eardrum?!
Question: Am i allowed an Ipod if i have a perforated eardrum.?
i have had a perforated eardrum since i was about 6 and i'm not allowed to get water in my ear as i don't have an eardrum to keep the water out of actually going into my ear. The thing is i really want an ipod and i'm not sure if im allowed one. I listen to music sometimes on my phone with headphones but i'm not sure if this is right.?

I would contact your doctor. He might be hesitant or say that it is not the best thing for your ear. I would think that as long as you are careful with the volume you will be fine. ipods even have a function where you can go into the settings and set the maximum volume level that you prefer. I would think as long as you dont get ear aches and nothing has really come of you listening to your phone, you should be fine.
again, I would talk to a preffesional first, before you go spending money on one, some of them are not cheap.
