Is it normal to have bad muscle pain after being exposed to cold temperatures?!
Question: Is it normal to have bad muscle pain after being exposed to cold temperatures.?
Just curious... I was stuck outside a few nights ago, waiting for a cab, for about an hour. It was only 2 degrees celsius outside (almost literally freezing) and I did not have a coat. I could not stop shaking.
The next morning I woke up and I could not get warm and all my muscles hurt so bad. I now have a cold and my muscle pain is going away...
I am not complaining (it is my fault i did not have coat) and I am not worried or else I would go to the doctor and not post the question on here...anyways, I know it is common to get a cold from being outside in those elements but i have never heard of the muscle pain. I assume it is related, but is it common.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
you were so cold it got to your muscles, and since you are now experiencing a cold, your body is probably weak from that too. Drink some hot tea, take some tylenol and rest for a few days. Should help.Health Question & Answer
