Question: No desire for food anymore.?
I used to love eating. I ate almost all the time but now I feel like I just eat because I have to not because I want to and I eat only enough to satisfy my stomach and could probably not eat for the rest of the day if my mom didn't make me. What's up with that.? :\ Health Question & Answer

after about 3 days, the body will no longer crave food (even if you eat a little here and there after day 3) these are sytoms many anorexics go through (no saying you are).

I think it's completely normal. At least from what I've gone through, and it was pretty much the same thing as that. I go through periods where I feel as though I'm really never hungry and could go the whole day without food, but I haven't experienced that feeling in quite a while now. I'm not sure what causes that feeling, but I think that you're just fine. You have to wait it out. also, remember that even though you may not feel hungry, your body still needs food intake at some point... You don't have to overdo it either, just make sure you eat something little even if you don't feel hungry. Hope that helped!Health Question & Answer
I think it's a part of your life. I totally feel the same. Some days I must really push myself so I eat enough (I don't wanna lose weight), other days I can't help myself from eating too much.
I would say it kinda connects to your mood as well. A good day, with happy thoughts and happy moments, means you're more likely to enjoy food. also, if you're having bad thoughts, food will really taste like NOTHING.

your health is most important. eating till you're full is obviously a good thing, no matter how much you eat. if you ain't hungry, no one should make you eat. you get sick that way, especially if you are already full. eat up!Health Question & Answer

Most teens go through a phase where they don't feel like eating. But later, when their metabolism reaches its peak, they eat almost all the time. Hope that helped.Health Question & Answer
