I was in macy's shopping with my mom and then my nose started to bleed.
I didn't do ANYTHING. At all. I just felt something and then my nose felt wet, I knew I was bleeding, so I just covered it with my hand. I sat down at a makeup counter and it started bleeding sooo fast. Then the other nostril started bleeding, and shortly after that the blood started dripping down my throat with no control. I would not be exaggerating it I said that it bled for 10 minutes+.
Then after that, I wanted to go home, and so my mom got a wheelchair because I felt faint and lightheaded. I'm not afraid of blood in any way, so I know it wasn't that.
While my mom was getting the car and I was still sitting in the wheelchair, I spat out some GIANT clot out of my mouth that was at the least the size of a tablespoon. I can feel another clot forming in my throat. Since then, the bleeding in my nose has stopped but I still feel a little lightheaded.
I do not have a cold, my nose wasn't stuffy, nothing like that.
I have not been taking ibuprofen at all, the last pill I took was an aleve 3 days ago.
I haven't been picking.
Haven't been punched in the face.
The only thing that my mom could think of is that I drank a whole bottle of Fanta Orange before that happened and we ate chinese food. Perhaps the caffeine made my blood pressure shoot up or something and made my nose bleed. But I honestly couldn't tell where the blood was coming from.
Is there any home remedy for this, and could someone please tell me why this happened.? And should I see a doctor.?Health Question & Answer
