I believe that it is just leaking.. If you have a normal routine to clean it, like every day in the shower w/ a q-tip, this eliminates the smell..
Your belly button can "leak" depending on how it developed after you were born.. There isn't anything you can do...... unless one day you get a tummy tuck and they re-shape your bbutton...... sorry :0(Health Question & Answer

My sweety pie's belly button smelled one time, so I took a Q-tip and dipped it in Soft Scrub, with bleach, and swabbed out her belly button.. The smell was gone instantly and the Soft Scrub did not irritate her skin..Health Question & Answer
