Ok ...... this is embarrassing.
I think I am going to get my period soon do you .?.?.?
here are some of the things I have experienced :
. head aches
. back pain
. breast development ( i am a size 10AA ( 32 AA )in bra )
. cramps
. pubic hair ( up to like stage 2 )
. my hips have widened
. lots and lots of yellowy white discharge every day so i wear a panty liner
and thats all I can think of at the moment
p.s im only like 130 cm tall!
and I am 11 now and 12 in december
my boobs are really sore too

The day before i had my first period, i had a SEVERE headache. and since your hips are growing, and you are recieving pubic hair and discharge, and back pain, you are going to get your period very soon. Before I got my period, I was in cross country. Whenever I ran it was really painful because of rubbing [down there] and I had discharge all the time. I didn't know what it was so I thought I had a yeast infection and I used medicines for that. Then when I was at my friend's house and when I went to the bathroom, I got it. no, just because of the pubic hair and the boob size. i think your body is preparing you to have you period in the near future, probably not like the next month but maybe within the year, but there is not specific way to tell unfortunately. a period really isnt that bad so dont stress. people may tell you different but it all depends on your body.Health Question & Answer
i don't know what 'stage 2' is in pubic hair...
but when you've had boobs for 2 years, discharge for 1 year, armpit and pubic hair for a year, you'll get your period around then. just relax, it'll come. and you'll probably get red or brown discharge right before your first period- so it'll warn you when its coming. :) good luckHealth Question & Answer

Oh yes, definitely. Lately, a lot of girls are getting their periods at 11. So, yeah. And also, the breast pain and development is part of the period thing. Cramps.? Definitely. Back pain.? I don't get that at all, but yeah, that's a sympton too. Head aches also. And the discharge, big time. Keep some pads on you. Good luck :)Health Question & Answer
yes. i think you will. you are already going though puberty by what you said and starting your period is the next step. carry around pads/tampons with you everywhere so when it starts, you'll be ready. and dont be suprised if your period is irregular at first because it is normal.Health Question & Answer

Yes you are Im 13 turning 14 in december. I just asked my doctor when I would and she said this year most defidentley. Check with your doctor, they can predict a little bit according to your growth charts when you will. Health Question & Answer

Yes, expect it anytime from now and be prepared - ask your Mum to help you choose some sanitary towels so you can carry 1 or 2 with you with you to school and out just in case.
I will never forget the day I started my period - I was dancing around in my room to the radio and was brushing my hair in front of the mirror, and felt a big stabbing pain in my lower belly all of a sudden, then it passed straight away.
Thinking nothing of it I went for a wee and there it was! All I had was my 14yr old brother to figure out where Mum kept sanitary pads in her wardrobe while I stayed on the loo thinking I would bleed everywhere haha.
It's not as bad as I thought so don't panic when it happens :)
