How do I keep Herpes Zoster in my eyes from spreading?!

This is the second time I've had this, extremely painful, itchy, and annoying. I feel like a cyclops.

Goodness, if the shingles are in your eye get to your doctor. This needs to be treated, or it could compromise vision. And please don't try herbal stuff for this, vision is too important to mess with.

I GET THE SAME THING BUT ITS JUST BENEATH MY EYE, WASH YOUR HANDS ALL THE TIME..AND DO NOT TOUCH IT AS MUCHAS IT ITCHES DONT TOUCH..GO TO THE DOCTOR THEY PRESCRIBED ME VALTREX WHICH CLEARS IT UP QUICKLY, THAT IS IF YOU TAKE IT ONCE YOU SEE IT. GOOD LUCK OH YEAH IT USUALLY BREAKS OUT WHEN YOUR IN THE SUN TOO LONG OR STRESSED OUT..MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE DOCTOR AND LET THEM CHECK YOUR EYE OUT IT CAN CAUSE YOU TO GO BLIND.GOOD LUCK I HOPE I HELPED
You better see a doctor you can lose your eyesight if you get herpes zoster in the eyes. There are medications that can be used to treat this now on the market.
do not touch and if you do be very very very careful not to touch other parts of your body, Ie mouth, genital area, etc. as it can be spread very easily through openings and sores. take Valtrex and use wisdom. God bless
As soon as you feel it coming on, your eye doctor can prescribe eyedrops that might keep it from getting so bad.
