is the a relation between hypertension and cataract?!
Question:
my neighbour (he is doctor) tell me that if i have hypertension, i have a bigger chance twice to get cataract and blindness.. please, my blood preassure is 140/100.. will i getting blind?
Answers:
Yes there is a link and also a supplement that can help both. It is called Provex CV but with the vision starting to have problems you need to act fast. Blindness is irreversable. At least see a eye doctor for a glaucoma test, but I can help you lower your blood presure and eye presure naturally if you like. Links are in my profile.

Hypertension is associated with increased risk of posterior subcapsular opacities. The pathophysiologic mechanisms that may explain the relationship are unknown.
Translated--people with high blood pressure have a higher chance of cataracts.
Next question should be--how to drop blood pressure. When I was 26, I measured 225/115--just a bit high, and I was in excellent shape, running 26 miles/week, playing all kinds of sports. Dr. wanted to start me on medication. I started doing some research and figured out what I needed to do. Now average measure about 140/80 (diastolic is still a bit high, but not bad, systolic dropped like crazy). General guidelines: drink plenty of water, avoid excess salt, take good vitamins (Green Source from www.puritan.com is excellent), avoid red meat, and learn better techniques for coping with stress.
