Men, do you every wear black socks with shorts or white socks?!
Question:
Perhaps this is a cultural thing. I know of men who wear black socks with shorts and get teased by women for being "nerds." Whereas, men who wear white socks with shorts are called "American tourists" if you travel outside the U.S.
So which one would you choose and why?

It's cultural. You can always tell the Brits in Florida because they have pasty-white skin and black socks.
Also, in some areas of Europe it's only gays and tourists that wear shorts. White socks are mainly a US thing.

Being a female, I find any man, from Johnny Depp to Johnny Vegas ( a really fat English comedian to our American cousins!!)Really quite disgusting & verging on the obscene, euwwww socks with sandals, black socks with shorts.!!
I often make fun of my male friends about wearing white socks - I hate them! :) Honestly though, most of my female friends and I agree that black or another dark colour or neutral is best, but really it's the type of sock, not so much the colour. Socks that come half way up your calves are unattractive regardless of colour ;) Your best bet is to purchase ankle socks to wear with your runners if you're wearing shorts. They come up only to your ankle bone and are made to be worn with runners. If they're black, brown, white, navy or tan, it really doesn't matter so much. You'll be stylish, I promise :) Problem solved ;)

black socks al the way only ankle cutters though ( ankle cutters r sock that are below ur ankle and u cant really see them that much) no long socks ever neva eva neva evai wear black socks all the time i mean everyday n i neva get teased by women for wearing blk soks well thats because i neva wear long black soks so yeah
