I don't encourage nor discourage adult men to get circumcised. Its their body, so its their choice. That it is a fundamental principle of human rights, and my fundamental belief in relation to this topic.

because some women have a (cultural) aversion to uncut guys and are more willing to have oral sex with a circumcised guy. men will do anything to get some head. when adult males do this it is normally to gain some kind of sexual acceptance from a woman or women in our culture. there is other history also related to social status. circumcision at one time was associated with higher social status (hospital birth). but honestly i feel it is mutilation and the bigger question is why would parents allow this to be done to their precious baby boys. please help to educate parents to stop this. unfortunately i know one young man who was uncircumcised and decided to have his male child circumcised. trust me it's about social factors and sexual factors. it's tough being an uncircumcised man in our culture.

People in the US think its more sanitary, but I believe that is just because they're used to it, or they have it done so they believe it to be normal and then do it to their own sons.

Because it's an American tradition, that's the only reason. People are like sheep.If 2 thousand years ago people started cutting babys nostrils larger to help them breath better or something stupid, people would still do it to this day without ever questioning it's purpose.Health Question & Answer
Well, usually this is done at birth for cleanliness issues, it is harder to keep one clean when it is on a baby who is not cut, or I should say it takes more time. If they were not "cut" at birth it is most likely due to the apperance.Health Question & Answer

I don't believe that most men are able to make such a choice. At the tender age at which such grevious surgeries occur the human brain is unable to communicate with other hominids in the fashionable parlance of the times.
