Answers:
darker veins may be just showing through because he is older and his skin is thinner...
or
it might be because smoking deprives the body of oxygen and will cause visible blood vessels to look darker.
Either way, he needs to cut down or stop smoking because if he hasn't already got it, he will be well on his way to getting COPD, lung disorder associated with long term smoking.
COPD is incurable and leads to breathing problems and heart failure... and obviously death.Health Question & Answer

The condition may well be related to smoking. Obvious to say, I know, but he really must quit. If you're in the UK the NHS can provide advice and support.Health Question & Answer

The fags are going to be the death of him. try and get him to cut down or best, stop altogether. Get a thorough health check done and see how bad the problem is.Health Question & Answer

He needs to see his GP for advice and a health screen, he really must stop smoking. That is seriously heavy smoking!Health Question & Answer

darker vines it is not mean that there is a problem but he can drink more water or he can instead drink green tea(5-8 cups a day ) to clear his blood from any toxic best of luckHealth Question & Answer

The odd beer won't hurt your dad, but the smoking will have lost of influence on his cardeo vascular system by causing arteries and veins to constantly contract when he has a smoke, and also introducing many carbon free radicals into the blood stream that score the walls and causes plaque to attach in these areas causing restrictions in blood flow like in the heart and skin. The constricted blood flow areas in the heart can cause a blood clot to form in arteries that go to some part of the heart to feed it and give oxygen, causing a heart attack.

Lung cancer is such a high risk from the smoking too!

Stopping smoking at 50 can still make a difference for him to live a healthy full life, but he's running out of time to be able to do that and have it make a difference.

It caused skin aging in both men and women, and women are conscious about their skin condition.

Wanting the best for your Dad, especially for your sake because you care!
