The testicles are filled with seminiferous tubules which is where sperm is created....there are approximately 1,500 seminiferous tubules in both testicles (aprx. 750 tubules in each) of the male human. The best way to describe how it looks would be a bunch of angel hair pasta noodles scrunched up together really tight....and I mean really tight...so tight in fact that if you stretched them out they would reach almost one mile.

and this is a picture of a bull's testicle...the skin on a bull is much thinner than on a human so you're able to catch a glimpse of the tubules without making an incision.
