i am only 15. i have a lump on my right testicle and i don't want to tell my mom so should i go to the school nurse and tell her i know her vary well she is my Friends mom and really nice but im just wondering if i sould go to her. no nagative comments!!!!! First you are to congratulated on checking for such things. A monthly TSE (testicular self exam) is so very important. It needs to be looked at by a doctor. It could be nothing to worry about and only require minor attention. It could be more serious but because you are catching it early it will be a good thing. Now the school nurse could take a look but she will have to report to mom and most likely will say see a doctor. You need to tell mom that you do a TSE (google for more info if you need to) every time your in a warm shower and this llump has shown up in your scrotum and you really would like to have it looked at by your family doctor.
