Question: My teacher tells me men shouldn't have any say in abortion, but women should decide male circumcision.?
I don't understand this argument at all. Men shouldn't have say in their partners abortion because it's not their bodies. BUT when it comes to males, "women should choose if males get circumcised.?"

The logic behind the current thinking on pregnancy and abortion is *nearly* identical to the following, in many cases. You and a study partner at school do all your work together for a project that your professor is fully aware of. You put just as much of your effort and work and knowledge and sweat equity into the project. It may have even been your ideas that the project was based upon. In the end, your study partner makes the presentation before the class, takes all the credit, and the teacher gives your study partner the grade with no credit given for your part and you get no grade. Plus if you protest it at all, you become the most reviled student of the entire school.

Although I mainly agree that a women should be the decider on abortion, it is not a 100% thing. The one exception would basically be if two people were married, created a child, and then for some reason the women really wanted an abortion (for apparently no reason), while the man was still committed to having the child. In reality, this would likely almost never happen because why would a women want an abortion for no reason.
Anyway, all in all, although it is the woman's body, the fetus/child/etc. is half the man's if you know what I mean. Society as a whole definitely agrees that the woman's body takes priority, but there are many people that consider abortion killing and thus would side with the man if he wanted to keep the child.
As for circumcision, the decision is made by parents. In the end, it has nothing to do with men versus women. If I had to pick a side, however, I'd go with males getting to choose since they would no better, right.?Health Question & Answer

I would think you would want to know if a woman wants you to be circumcised. It tells you if that is a turn off for them, and if it is, your sex life with that person will never work out. Abortion on the other hand is basically telling a woman that she needs to kill her baby. I think there is a very big difference there...Health Question & Answer
