Question: Help,when i sweat i smell...?
I am a 13 year old boy, and when i go to school and sit in a classroom, i always sweat under my legs when im sat down and it smells like fish, is this normal.? and also, can you tell me if there are any ways to get rid of this smell.? thanks.

you will be dealing with more and more smells from sweat and lots of other things too.
That smell you are smelling is most likely caused not my the sweat but bacteria that is growing in it. This is why at you age it is necessary to shower every day and even twice if you are doing sports or something like that.
Try using antibacterial soap in the shower on your entire body.
you can also use deodorant anywhere on your body. I do not suggest using the antiperspirant type of deodorant on large portions of you body because your body needs to sweat to stay healthy and to cool you off.
Get some regular deodorant and rub that in anywhere you notice a problem and I am sure that will take care of it.
also clean your clothes in very hot water because the smell will come back even in clean clothes if they are not cleaned real well.
Good luck this is just the beginning.

Yeah its normal that you are sweating. You can use foot powder & while you are cleaning your foot be sure to clean in between and under the fingers, This will help you a lot in reducing the smell. And when you are free you can keep your foot out of your shoes which reduces the smell.

well you juts got to wash your self EVERY DAY and put on clean clothes and put on some smell good stuff and girls don't like boys that smell bad.and ask your dad for some helpHealth Question & Answer
