Most guys don't, probably.. I just started trimming mine a few years ago, do it every couple of months.. It's a personal grooming choice.. It's not like the hair on your head--it doesn't grow indefinitely.. You shed most of it on a regular basis and the rest just continues to curl and kink until it breaks off, so it's never going to extend down your pant leg to your shoe tops, if that's what you're worried about.. my feeling is it is your hair so you are free to trim it, shave it, dye it, cut designs into it or even braid it as you like.. Do ti for you not for anyone else (well at least not until you have a partner who takes an interest in that part of you - hehe)..
