My little brother is turning 12 next month and he noticed this weird white thing in his throut that he never had.. I looked in mine and I dont have one could this be his adams apple developing.? And how long would it be till his voice changes......Health Question & Answer

Answers:
No, you cannot see your adam's apple by looking in your mouth.. The adams apple juts from the neck and that is how you see it, from the outside.. If he has developed a weird white thing, it is probably a pustule that needs to be seen by the Dr..Health Question & Answer

everyone has an adams apple.. boys, girls, men, and women.. it's just more prominent in men.. i didn't even notice my adams apple got bigger until after my voice changed.. one day i was looking in the mirror and i just had one on my throat.. lol

but for your brother, if you can see a white thing in his throat then i'd go see a doctor.. sounds like he could have strep throat..Health Question & Answer

anything white in the back of the throat that u can see from opening the mouth isn't normal- if he has a sore throat then it is probably strept throat which is very contagious.... if nothing hurts then i have no idea wut it is.. u can't see the adams apple from his mouth....
