Was he older.? When I was growing up in the 70's, our doctor pulled them down..

I might have been around 7 or 8 at the time.. I was kind of caught by surprise when he pulled them down.. I didn't know it was coming and my mother was in the room.. I wasn't used to having her see the private parts by that age..Health Question & Answer

That shouldn't have happened.. Doctors have to follow a strict guideline and not overstep their boundaries themselves.. Even if they need to "check under the hood.." They are supposed to ask you, and reassure you what they are doing in professional if you have a problem with it.. They are not supposed to take it upon themselves to undress you unless you are unfit to..Health Question & Answer

You are just overreacting, the doctor is there to examen you, and part of the examination is to check your genitals.. What happens is these docs get numb to the fact that patients can be sensitive to certain examinations.. I bet out of 10 people only one might get upset.. Sometimes the doctor is just too busy to sit and explain every test he is performing on you, and it just becomes routine..Health Question & Answer

Absolutely not.. You should tell your parents immediately so that they will take you to a new physician in the future..

It is a big deal.. A doctor should never remove your clothing or anyone else without your permission..Health Question & Answer

My doctor always has me do it.. Not sure what to make of the doctor doing it himself......Health Question & Answer
