What do anybody know about a vasectomy? cost,pain and etc?!

I had mine on a Friday, and was back to work on Monday.. The surgery only took about 15 min.. No it didn't hurt but it was most certainly uncomfortable.. The first two days, I felt like I could do nothing.. The following week it itched pretty bad.. But I think that was because I did it on the wrong part of the year (It was hot and humid, so I was pretty sweaty down there)..

Overall I have to say it was a "piece of cake"..

The cost was $250 cash.. I have heard most men get it for under $700 these days if they have no insurance.. It is usually under $100 with insurance..Health Question & Answer

I had it done at the end of February.. The cost was $700..00.. The pain was not bad, but I had the no scalpel process.. They make a small puncture, so no stitches are necessary.. My physician highly recommended an athletic supporter for at least a week.. I feel it did help with the discomfort.. My husband had it done on a Thursday and went back to work Monday.. He said it didn't hurt, it was just uncomfortable.. Our insurance paid for all of it, BECAUSE he found a doctor that would do it in his office.. If he would have had it done in the hospital, then we would have had to pay for 20% of it..
