It only makes you weak directly after the event, for about a minute.. It won't hurt your training, except you will enjoy it so much you won't want to do anything else..Health Question & Answer

It's totally subjective.. Some people may feel weak in the legs after, some don't.. Personally, I feel fit as a fiddle when I'm done...... probably stronger rather than weaker.. (Depending on position and duration of course.. lol...... some positions are difficult to maintain and cause strain on muscles rarely used..)
