I just did a research paper on circumcision for my nursing degree.. First, you really don't want to do this yourself.. Second, you might not want to do this at all.. This is a permanent procedure, you can never replace the flesh removed.. The best studies done on sensitivity that measure more than 2 points have concluded that the most sensitive points on the penis are removed by circumcision.. This diminished sensitivity may only be noticeable as men age and begin to have erectile dysfunction.. There is still controversy as to whether it decreases sensitivity, but upon reviewing the actual studies I think it clearly diminishes sensation.. Some people may tell you that is is a matter of hygiene.. I'm sure that by 16 you know how to was yourself and this is not an issue for you.. New studies in Africa that show circumcision reducing the rate of AIDS infection also may have little to do with you.. Similar studies have found no difference in rates of infection in the USA most likely due to differences in hygiene.. About the sex thing.. At 16 it is unlikely you are with your lifelong partner.. No reason to go cut off part of your penis for one chick today and have the girl of your dreams be disappointed later on.. The only studies done on sensation in women concluded that the extra flesh of the uncircumcised penis provided more stimulation for the woman.. If some chick is making you feel bad because your penis hasn't had parts of it cut off, maybe she isn't worth your time.. Just think it over and decide what is right for you..
