i've a close friend from school.... i noticed that he likes to hang around with me, alone...... whenever i bring other classmates along when we hang out, he seems bothered and tense...... he likes to touch me (shoulder, belly etc) when we talk and he likes to look at my lips...... he is okay otherwise...... i currently have a steady gf but he doesn't...... sometimes i wonder is this normal behaviour.......? thanks......Health Question & Answer

It sounds like he's really fond of you.. He might want to keep you more to himself because he has a crush on you.. If he seems to be touching you more intimately than you expect, it might be because he was raised in a family that touched a lot.. It sounds like you're comfortable with it though..

even though you provided a lot of information, it is difficult to say what his thoughts or intentions are.. this could be normal to him.. he might not relate to many people and he feels he has something in common with you.. i know i am much more comfortable around certain people.. i don't want to scare you, but there is a possibility your friend is bi or gay and has a crush on you.. i personally wouldn't let it bother you if he was because he is still the same person he always was.. if his behavior makes you uncomfortable, you will need to talk to him.. i have some close friends and we do things that would appear weird to outsiders and we don't act the same around others.. no matter what happens, don't do anything crazy or destroy the friendship.. i hope this helps..Health Question & Answer
