Question: Im 14 and theres something wrong with my right nipple...?
Well about a month ago my nipple started to hurt and i looked and rubbed it and felt a marble sized ball under it.. It just now this week started to swell up just a little bit.. When i sit on my stomach it hurt when my nipple rubs against the ground.. Is this serious or just due to puberty.?

That happened to me when i was about 12 or 13.. It felt weird.. Im 17 now, and my nipples are still a little "swollen" but they used to be really bad.. Dont worry, that hard ball underneath will go away in a year or less.. Then its just like theres air in it.. its weird i know, i hate itHealth Question & Answer
It could just be muscle development (my chest started to ache and felt swolen at 13-14, but it stopped eventually)......but since there is a lump, you NEED to get it checked out by a doctor..

Hey, i am 13 and in the puberty process, and i had the same problem.. just dont mess with it and just leave it alone.. eventually after some months it will shrink and go away.. my mom is a retired nurse and she believes it just has to do with hormones..Health Question & Answer

But it sounds like it could be a small tumor or otherwise a blockage of some kind..
