Possible diagnoses, in order of likelihood:
1 Insect bite (should reduce in size and burning after a few days)
2 Inflamed hair follicle ( will go away or turn into a "pimple")
3 Early sign of boil (= staph infection of hair follicle.. May go away on its own [called a "blind boil"] or eventually get a head of pus.. If you get more of them you may need antibiotics from a doctor..)
4 Swollen scalp vein, (will feel hard and will not usually be "round".. will eventually go away on its own)
5 Sign of medical examination or interrogation, following abduction by aliens.. (will re-occur at regular intervals during your life)Health Question & Answer
