The first thing I would suggest is for you to go and pay a visit to your doctor, as they should be able to shed some light on the underlining causes of your hair loss as well as writing off a number of different diseases and conditions which have been known to have hair loss as one of their identifiable symptoms.. Included in this list of conditions are things like hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, cushing syndrome and in addition to these malnutrition, which can also include a deficiency in certain vitamins and minerals such as Iron.. If your hair loss is not as a result of any of these types of condition then it is possible that it could be stress or psychologically related, especially if you have not experienced any other symptoms.. A link between conditions such as stress and hair loss has long been known and the good news is that in the majority of these cases hair loss is temporary and should last no longer than a few years.. You stated that you have been loosing hair from the right hand corner of your head.. I am not entirely sure whether you mean at the front or back of the head, but there is a possibility that this could also be the very early stages of Male Pattern Hair Loss which is both the most common form of hair loss amongst men as well as being highly treatable in this day and age.. If your hair loss is as a result of this condition, where by levels of the hormone Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) increase and when left to act on the scalp cause the hair follicles to shrink until they are too small for hair to pass through.. This would also match the wirey and thin hair growth you have described, as this could be as a result of the follicles shrinking.. As I said, this condition is highly treatable using the medication Propecia and will need to be used for the duration of your live, as it is not a permanent cure but more a DHT inhibitor which will need to be taken daily to prove effective.. However, the inconvenience of taking a pill daily is far less when compared to the more drastic solutions such as having a hair transplant..Health Question & Answer

You are a bit young to be suffering from baldness, plus it usually affects the hair generally, not just in one area.. Sounds more like a scalp problem.. Ask your doc for advice, or if you have a rash or scaly skin on your scalp, a pharmacist may be able to advise you..Health Question & Answer
