Answers:
you dont want to over do it..
you already sounds pretty fit..
but running for a hour wouldnt hurt..
just take a break before you do any other excersizes..
i would consider maybe running when you wake up and then later in the afternoon lift weights.?
and i doubt you need the protein bar..
just eat healthy things that already have protein in them :]Health Question & Answer

you need to run physically, not on a tredmill.. When your actually running and defying gravity, thats when your body is REALLY working hard.. I think it would be a quicker way to loose body fat rather than relying on a tredmill..

I know if you do interval training that works well too.... switch off from speed walking and jogging, slow-medium constant pace is what melts fat..

lifting weights is good too because it burns fat in different ways than running does.. Protein is always good to have after work outs, its what your muscles need to get bigger and burn fat..Health Question & Answer

about running, it matters what your goal is.. running long distances slowly will burn calories but won't help your metabolism or endurance.. running sprints while taking brakes in between is probably best because it makes you faster, increases your metabolism (which makes you burn calories faster all the time) and gets you in better shape..

about weight lifting, it is kinda similar.. depending on your goal, you should work out differently.. lifting heavy weights for less reps with longer rest periods will tend to build bigger muscles while lifting lighter weights for more reps helps more with endurance and the density of your muscles..

about the protein bar, it is kinda controversial.. the protein is good but a lot of people are against the bars because of all the unnatural ingredients..

good luckHealth Question & Answer

running an hour a day is a great way to burn fat
it works great for me
and it also helps tone muscles before lifting wieght
i would suggest that you run on the treadmill for a week or two before lifting wieghts so your muscles have time to adapt to the workout so you dont tear anything
and a protein bar or shake is also a good idea
make sure not to have too much becuase protein stores water in the muscles and when youhave too much your muscles become inflated making you look bigger
once you stop working out, the water will turn to fat and you will have to work twice as hard to burn it off..
instead you can try natural proteins such as fish and chicken

I think starting off running an hour a day is too much, if you're not really used to it.. You will definitely want to build your endurance and not push yourself to the limit the first day.. By building your speed/time/endurance, you'll have an easier time with losing weight AND the work out in general.. I would do the same thing with the weights.. Start slowly, then build your way up.. Make sure you eat healthy as well! Hope this helps..Health Question & Answer

You can definitely run an hour per day if you build up to it slowly.. You can lift weights, but not more than 3x a week.. Yes, a protein bar or drink after a workout is a great idea..

For the first two weeks of running I recommend running an hour a day for 4 out of the 7 days..
Then the 3rd week and on I would run for 30mins a day for 4 out of the 7 days..
You'll loose weight quickly and still be healthy.. Take your time loseing the weight though, you don't want stretch marks from your leg width and your stomach widthHealth Question & Answer

an hour, just go to a track, no need for a tredmill, get some fresh air.. also do crunches that helps! Good luck

I think you should workout one day then the next day run, you need to give your muscles time to heal.. You also need protein try every other day working out and between those days run an hour..Health Question & Answer

i dont think you need a tredmil..
running out side does just the same.. and its more scenic :)
just do an hour or two a day, and make your food in smaller portions so you dont eat as much.. sit ups will also help of course.. and cut soda out of you diet.. all of that should improve for a healthier lifestyle and in turn, loss of weight..Health Question & Answer

An hour a day is fine.. The recommendation is for at least 20 or 30 minutes each day.. But not more than 4 or 5 times a week.. Eat lots of protein after the workout to build muscle.. Protein bars are good.. Peanut Butter is also a great source of protein.. Nuts, grains, meats like grilled chicken or turkeyHealth Question & Answer

large breakfast medium lunch and small dinner and nothing except water or mineral water after 7.. Its what we eat at dinner that sits on us in the wrong places.. This works for me but we are all different.. Hope this helps.. My friends used to laugh at me when I had a chocolate slice and a hot chocolate for morning tea and they all ate carrots (u know what I mean) but then I walked it off all day so it didnt sit.. They probably (after bieng good all day) treated themselves at night and undid all the good work they had done.. My thoughts anyway.. Just be healthy.. Good luck and have a good day, Sandy..Health Question & Answer

its not just running...... it you are buying a digital treadmill, it will show you the calories burned every day.... try to burn minimumu of 700-800 cals per day...... first you should focus on burning your fat.... weight lifting is right now not a good idea...... just do treadmilll and stretching exercises for at least a month...... after that you can go for weights........Health Question & Answer

since your BMI isnt that high at all, you should do less than an hour.. maybe 20-30 minutes a day is enough.. and yes, lifting weights would be a good thing to add on to your workout routine.. once your legs are tired, work on something else..Health Question & Answer
