At my last physical, the nurse told me that I could keep everything on.. However, I took everything off except for my underwear.. The doctor was surprised that I did this.. I have my upcoming physical with the same doctor..Health Question & Answer

Well listen to directions.. If they tell you that you can keep everything on don't take your clothing off.. Think about it from the physicians vantage point.. Well, it was really strange for you to take almost everything off when the nurse said to keep your clothes on.. When you go again, do as instructed.. Unless you are going for a dermatological exam (skin doctor) there is little reason for you to undress unless you have something you want the doctor to specifically see-- like a strange mole or other abnormality..Health Question & Answer
they sometime tell you to strip down and put on a gown, man, i hate those things,..i know if you have diabestis, you have to take off your shoes and socks, and if your getting a prostate exam, you have to drop your drawers and he sticks his finger up your butt..Health Question & Answer
No worries, just ask your Doc, when you do go, should you or shouldn't you, I promise you...... asking about things you are not completely sure of does not make you seem stupid, in fact it causes others to think, "hey aren't you intelligent.?"

When my husband went for his physcical a couple of months ago he had to take off everything.. Just listen to what the nurse or dr.. tells you to do.. If they tell you to leave your clothes on then leave them on..Health Question & Answer
