Is morning wood more associated with the morning or just waking up?!

Question: Is morning wood more associated with the morning or just waking up.?
Answers:
Morning wood is actually the last of about 3 to 5 night time erections men have.. These erections occur naturally as the body's way to relieve the build up of seminal fluid..Health Question & Answer

I have read the answers others have written, and most could be right......or wrong.. The truth is, no one really knows why males have erections during sleep or upon waking..
This has been associated with dreams, urine build up, sleep patterns, the increase of blood flow during sleep, and the list goes on and on.. However, it has been shown that men with erectile dysfunction DO NOT get nocturnal erections and as men get older the nocturnal erections decrease in frequency.. After looking at that particular research, I would discount that the bladder or having to pee has much to do with it..Health Question & Answer

partially, it has to do with the time of day.. Your testosterone levels are their highest in the morning.. That contributes to morning wood.. also, your bladder is usually full after sleeping so long, and that's also a contributing factor.. Plus, you get erections even while sleeping.. And when you wake up, and get the blood pressure going again, that usually brings on a stiffy..Health Question & Answer

All men, except for those with erectile dysfunction, have erections while they sleep.. These erections keep the equipment functioning properly and typically happen during the dream stage of sleep.. If a man wakes up directly from the dream stage of sleep, then he will likely wake up with an erection, or morning wood, as you've said it..

So, it's about the waking up-part ;)Health Question & Answer

It's because while you sleep your bladder fills with pee, and then it presses against your penis cutting off blood flow, and voila morning wood.. This is also why it usually goes down shortly after you drain the dragon..

Not the most scientific sounding reply but it's what actually happens..Health Question & Answer

Morning erections are caused by be abruptly awoke from REM sleep (which is the deep and dreamless sleep).. Men get erections throughout the night due to high circulation I believe during that type of sleep.. So when your alarm goes off and you suddenly wake up, that's the most typical time you will have a morning erection..Health Question & Answer

the average guy has an erection about every 45 minuites during sleep.. As well, when a bladder fills an erection can occur to close the 'valve' that keeps urine from entering the urethra.. Morning is the one time when you kind fo ge tth elast fo the sleep erections and the bladder full effect at the same time.. Just be sure to let it relax a bit before trying to pee..Health Question & Answer

dang thats a good question.. i think it has more 2 do with wakin up cause if i have a nap durin the day i still wake up with a bone......afternoon wood.? and realy i figure it has 2 do with what my mind is thinkin while im sleepin and i think i get so erect it wakes me up..Health Question & Answer

Two things can be the cause of a morning wood:you just woke up out of a REM sleep..During REM stages men get an erection..
Or your bladder is full and the nerve that causes an erection is pressed on..

It is true that your penis will become hard in order to stop yourself peeing in the bed.. Haven't you realised that if you get a hard on your need to piss reduces.. This is, in fact, the scientific explanation for it..Health Question & Answer

When you dream, blood flows to your penis in sexual arousal.. When you wake up, your dreams are cut off and the blood that was built up in your penis remains there and gradually goes away..Health Question & Answer

I don't know either but bro it's hard to pee without making a messHealth Question & Answer
