Well if you yourself are gay, it might be that you feel attracted to that guy and want to see if he feels the same about you.. In that case, the best way might be to slip in your intentions and then ask him if he is also gay.. the only way to know if somebody is truly gay is if they tell you themselves, if you ask them they may lie to you especially if youre not very close.. the best way is to become friends with them and maybe they will confide in you but nothing is certain.. if you do become good friends you might be able to get an honest answer.. gay people are not all stereotypes they can be as normal as anyone and there are no defining characteristics that can cater for every homosexual so dont bother looking for anyHealth Question & Answer
