I'm about to turn 16, is it too late to start body building?!

Question: I'm about to turn 16, is it too late to start body building.?
I'm 6'2" and 175 pounds..

I am involved in my NJROTC PT team, we do bodyweight exercises everyday and we lift once a week but it is all lower weight with reps in the 15-25 range.. ( LOTS of circuits)

I have 13 inch arms and I would like to get stronger and have a more cut and muscular look yet still be competitive when it comes to doing lots of pushups, situps, dips and pullups..

Any tips or work out plans would be very helpful..Health Question & Answer

Answers:
The best way to get better at doing pushups, situps, dips and pullups is to do pushups, situps, dips and pullups.. And no, it is not too late to start body building..

Make sure you have good pushup form, here is a link to proper pushups:

If situps and crunches are becoming easy, try a hydraulic situp machine or cable crunches, which adds extra resistance weight to the exercises..

Gym Jones has some information about proper dips and pullups:

No good idea you will love the way your body is going to change first thing is food you have to eat every 2-3 hours, preferably high protein foods, boiled eggs, baked chicken breast, lean beef, fish and drink whey protein shakes if your on the go also start drinking creatine, when you lift weights you have to lift heavy, free weights are best for definition, why dont you check out bodybuilding..com and follow some of the pros training, Good Luck in ROTC i'm in the military,NavyHealth Question & Answer
