Starting to shave at 15?!

Question: Starting to shave at 15.?
Well i've got alot of hair on my upper lip and lower, the chins alright not much there but still very very VERY noticeable!
And i have hair on my cheeks too! and its not "bum fluff" because its black! its only noticeable up close but still how can i get rid of it!.?!.?!.?!
I'm 15 and i already asked my mum and she said "NO!, your too young!" but i hate it sooo much, my girlfriend said i'd look like a totally different person with out it, and way better than now!
also any tips on shaving since i might considering doing it(besides use a razor and shaving cream).?
and i dont want to ask my dad that would just be awkward! i dont really have a relationship with my dad when i can talk to him about anything..
And of course my mums like "it will end up growing faster", im sick of it! Why won't she let me shavee.?!!
Heaps of people in year shave and they're my age!

Mum doesn't like the idea of losing her baby boy.. Most are like that..
I would try with an electric razor - a Rotary type - like Norelco.. Once you start shaving - you're stuck with it for life.. A beard and/or goatee and/or mustache may look 'cool' - but you have to make allowances for time to keep it all trimmed & looking neat.. You don't want to show up for school or work looking like a 'bad hair day'..Health Question & Answer

Well, you could just explain to your mom that you think it's tacky and tell her that all guys shave and that you will have to one day anyways, and that it's better if she lets you learn to do it now.. Just tell her it bugs you and try to reason with her.. Tell her naturally it WILL grow back faster, but that's just part of being a man, having to shave it every so often.. Hope this helps......good luck!Health Question & Answer

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.. i started shaving at 14.. you are going to have to shave eventually, and there will be a day where you have to do it every day.. it does not matter when you start..

plus, it has never been proven that the hair actually grows in faster or thicker, its only a roomerHealth Question & Answer

15 is not too young to shave.. My brothers kidded me so much that I had to shave my mustache at 13..

You shave when you need to, not at some magical age.. And its not true that your hair will grow quicker and thicker if you shave.. It's going to do that anyway..

I tried using an electric razor but it made me break out.. I have a tough beard but tender skin, especially on the neck..

I hate to tell you to disobey your mother, but she is being unreasonable here.. If you need to shave you need to shave.. Try to reason with her one more time and if she says "no" then go to a brothers house of a friend and borrow a razor, making sure you rinse the razor in hot soapy water before you use it the first time.. Or better yet, take your own blade to fit their razor..Health Question & Answer

ok well i got a friend who shaves his face and legs + arms (swimming regulations he is competitve, and his coach is a psycho) and he is 13 and 6 foot.. no age is really too young i guess.. just tell your mom that stuff and even if she says no its your body and you can shave if you want.. im sure there are things on wikihow..com and youtube..com that could help you out as far as tips.. but you could always ask your dad, even if he isn't the type as far as "father son conversations go" im sure he'd be glad to help out..Health Question & Answer
