But when girls are being rude or winey one of the guys in the group might say something like "god she needs to get off her damn period" or "jeeze she was cranky......she must be on her freakin period"

The only way it might come into a conversation is either like "Dude, that girl is so PMSing" or "God, these past few days without sex have been crazy, cause my girlfriend is on her period" or something to that regard..
