Why is their so many guys talking about their penis how short and long it is?!

It's a security / macho thing.. I'm only average, and maybe even 1/4" shorter, plus I have a downward curving penis.. I've never had trouble.. Never.. In fact it's been humorous.. I was with one woman for a short time and she eventually referred me to her friend who wanted to see it.. I keep em' busy..
