What exactly are wet dreams?!

When a guy's sperm reaches it's expiration date (much like a girl's egg before her period), his body will release the sperm filled semen so that there is room to store the newer, fresher, healthier sperm.. It happens during sleep because we are more relaxed and can't consciously prevent it from happening.. A guy can avoid this by masturbating or having sex, which physiologically serves the same purpose and is more enjoyable to the guy..

A wet dream is merely the emission of semen during the sleep.. When a male emits semen in his sleep, they don't have to necessarily be dreaming about something sexual..
